KARACHI: Pakistan is set to host Zimbabwe for a six-match women’s white-ball series starting Monday, May 4, at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, marking the first-ever match between the two sides on Pakistani soil.
The series includes three One-Day Internationals, which count toward the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29, followed by three T20 Internationals, according to a statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The ODIs will take place on May 4, 6, and 9, with each match beginning at 3:30 PM local time. The T20Is are scheduled for May 12, 14, and 15, starting at 7:30 PM.
Fatima Sana will captain Pakistan’s 15-member ODI squad, which includes one uncapped player, Momina Riasat. The T20I squad will be announced later.
Currently, Pakistan sits fifth in the ICC Women’s Championship standings with two points, earned from an away ODI series against South Africa earlier this year.

The T20I leg offers Pakistan a valuable opportunity to fine-tune preparations for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, set to be held in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5. Prior to that global event, Pakistan will also compete in a T20I tri-nation tournament in Ireland (May 28 – June 4), alongside Ireland and the West Indies.
