PORT OF SPAIN: West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the second and final Test of the two-match series at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain on Sunday.
The hosts head into the decisive match with a 1-0 lead after registering a 90-run victory in the series opener, where Pakistan were dismissed for 120 while chasing a target of 211.
Pakistan will be aiming to bounce back and level the series, while the West Indies are looking to complete a series sweep and strengthen their position in the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27.
Pakistan’s playing XI features Azan Awais, Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafique, captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Awais Zafar, Ali Usman, Sajid Khan, Mohammad Ali and Ubaid Shah.

The West Indies have named Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Brandon King, Kavem Hodge, Shai Hope, Amir Jangoo, Justin Greaves, captain Roston Chase, Kemar Roach, Jomel Warrican, Shamar Joseph and Jayden Seales.
The two sides have met 57 times in Test cricket, with Pakistan holding a slight edge in the overall head-to-head record. Pakistan have won 22 Tests, while the West Indies have claimed 20 victories, with 15 matches ending in draws.
Pakistan enter the match on the back of four successive Test defeats and will be seeking an improved performance to avoid conceding the series. Meanwhile, the West Indies will look to build on the confidence gained from their opening-Test success as they continue their World Test Championship campaign.
