Lahore, Pakistan: Pakistan is marking the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, commemorating the events of May 6-7, 2025, during the Pakistan-India conflict, which officials describe as a defining moment in the country’s military history and a symbol of national unity, resilience and strategic strength.

The anniversary is being observed across the country in recognition of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, which Pakistani officials say demonstrated the preparedness and effectiveness of the armed forces in responding to Indian aggression.

Military officials particularly highlighted the role of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), describing the events of May 6-7 as a milestone that reinforced national confidence and validated the force’s continued focus on modernisation, technological advancement and combat readiness.

Officials say the operation strengthened Pakistan’s deterrence posture and showcased operational coordination among the armed forces in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty during the conflict.
