RIYADH: A Saudi medical team successfully separated Filipino conjoined twins after a six-hour surgery at King Abdullah Specialized Children’s Hospital in Riyadh. The twins, joined at the chest and abdomen, shared a liver and possibly part of the intestines. The operation marked the fourth successful separation of Filipino conjoined twins and the 72nd procedure under Saudi Arabia’s Conjoined Twins Program.
