Ahmedabad, India: President of the Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP) Charanvir Randhawa condemns the preliminary report made by India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on the 2025 Air India crash in Ahmedabad which killed 260 people.
As required by international law, the AAIB published a preliminary report on July 12, 2025, a month after the disaster. That 15-page document said the fuel supply to the jet’s engines was cut off moments before impact, raising questions about possible pilot error.
