RIYADH: The Unified Security Operations Centre (911) in the Makkah and Madinah regions has strengthened and expanded its services to support pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj season.
The centre plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of millions of pilgrims by handling emergency security and humanitarian calls efficiently and professionally, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
Equipped with the latest advanced technologies and smart communication systems, the operations centre is capable of responding to emergency calls in less than two seconds.
The service is managed by highly qualified and extensively trained personnel who are able to communicate in several languages, ensuring effective assistance for pilgrims from around the world.
The centre also emphasised that all incoming calls and reports are treated with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism. Reports are forwarded to the relevant authorities securely and discreetly, while callers are protected from any legal or personal liability.
These efforts reflect Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to enhancing safety measures and providing exceptional services for pilgrims during Hajj.
