Tunisia and South Korea Ink Deal to Boost Development Aid

TUNIS: In a significant move, South Korea has entered into an agreement with Tunisia to bolster the provision of development aid to the North African nation, as confirmed by Tunisia’s Foreign Ministry in a statement.

The agreement, formally signed by Tunisia’s Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar and South Korea’s Ambassador to Tunisia, Sun Nahm-kook, outlines various provisions.

As per the statement, South Korea will arrange training sessions for Tunisian executives, deploy experts and volunteers to Tunisia, and furnish equipment for collaborative projects within Tunisia.

Minister Ammar urged both parties to delve deeper into possibilities for cooperation and partnerships, particularly in the domains of development and infrastructure initiatives, the digitization of services, and amplifying South Korea’s investments in Tunisia.

Emphasizing the importance of enhanced coordination, Ammar highlighted the imperative of establishing programs for triangular cooperation involving African nations.
