ISLAMABAD: Member of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Central Shura, Omar Mukaram has claimed responsibility for the Peshawar Attack, saying Peshawar Police Line was the fourth suicide attack in a series of operations launched to revenge killing of ex-TTP Commander Omar Khalid Khorasani.
He vowed to speed up these actions in the coming days. According to the profile of Omar Khorasani, he is a resident of Sorang Village and hails from Dawezee tribe. His place of birth is Tehsil Pindyalai, Mohmand Agency with the date of birth as 15 March, 1985.
Omar Mukaram obtained primary education in his area. He completed Matric (secondary school certificate) from Govt High Secondary School Lakaray in Tehsil Safi. He obtained some of his religious education from Jamia Islamia in Charsada. He got his initial training in 2007, in the early days of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
