MAKKAH: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched a Smart Service Centre aimed at enhancing pilgrims’ experience across the Grand Mosque.

The initiative brings together an integrated technological system designed to streamline access to religious guidance, outreach, and enrichment programmes throughout the mosque, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

It also seeks to enhance the overall spiritual experience of visitors by making services more accessible, efficient, and coordinated across different locations within the holy site.

The initiative aligns with the efforts of the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque to leverage modern technologies and artificial intelligence in enhancing religious services and improving communication with pilgrims, in line with Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals and the Pilgrim Experience Programme under Saudi Vision 2030.

The Smart Service Centre offers a wide range of digital and interactive tools that enable pilgrims to quickly access religious guidance, educational materials, and answers to Sharia-related questions.

It also features multilingual smart solutions designed to support communication with visitors from diverse nationalities, helping to enrich their spiritual and intellectual experience across the Two Holy Mosques.
