WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has spoken with Foreign Minister of Morocco Nasser Bourita about the proposal to achieve an enduring ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and secure the release of all hostages.
During the phone call the Secretary underscored that the proposal would benefit both Palestinians and Israelis by allowing an increase in humanitarian assistance in Gaza, enabling the safe return of displaced persons to areas throughout Gaza, and allowing international reconstruction efforts to begin, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a statement on Tuesday.
