RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Somali counterpart on Monday affirmed the sovereignty of Somalia over its entire territory and rejected anything that undermines its security and stability.
The Saudi and Somali foreign ministers rejected anything that compromises Somalia’s security and stability, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The foreign ministers also reviewed Saudi-Somali relations and emphasised the importance of exerting all efforts to ensure the security of international waterways and freedom of navigation, according to SPA.
The Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal also received a phone call from his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot on Monday, according to SPA.
During the call, they discussed the overall situation in the region and joint efforts to support security and stability.
