Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, warned that recent Iranian attacks on the Kingdom and other Gulf nations pose a serious and growing threat to regional security and stability.
Addressing the 43rd session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council via video conference, he stressed that such actions risk escalating conflict, undermining peace efforts, and endangering both civilian populations and critical infrastructure, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
The Middle East has remained on high alert since the United States and Israel launched a large-scale air offensive against Iran on February 28, resulting in the killing of the Iranian top leadership, including its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In response, Iran launched missile and drone strikes targeting Israel, as well as several Gulf countries that are not part of the conflict.
