RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held separate telephone conversations with his Kuwaiti and Turkish counterparts and discussed the latest regional developments.
Prince Faisal received a phone call from Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and discussed regional developments and the importance of continuing consultations and coordination, as well as supporting diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions, protect freedom of navigation, and maintain security and stability in the region, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The Saudi Foreign Minister also held a phone call with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, during which they discussed regional developments and exchanged views.

Both sides emphasised the importance of strengthening and supporting all diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and containing the crisis in the region.
