JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Saturday received a phone call from Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to discuss latest regional developments.
During the phone conversation, the two leaders reviewed relations and ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
They also discussed the latest regional developments and efforts being undertaken to achieve security and stability, according to SPA.
Earlier on Saturday, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call from Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Dr. Badr Abdelatty to discuss the latest regional developments and maintain bilateral coordination and consultation on these issues, SPA reported.
On Friday, the Saudi Foreign Minister also held a telephone conversation with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and discussed the latest developments in the region.
During the call, the two ministers discussed the latest developments in the region and the efforts to maintain security and stability, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The discussion comes at a time when Pakistan and Middle Eastern countries are intensifying diplomatic engagement to address a range of regional challenges, including ongoing conflicts, humanitarian concerns, and efforts to promote dialogue and de-escalation.
