RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Nusuk application—the official digital platform for pilgrims visiting the holy sites—has crossed the 51 million user mark, underscoring the Kingdom’s rapid digital transformation of pilgrimage services.

The milestone was announced by Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfig Al-Rabiah, during his opening speech at the third Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, currently underway in Madinah.

The event, which draws significant local and international participation, was reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Held from March 30 to April 1 at the King Salman International Convention Centre, the three-day forum is organised by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Programme.

Developed by the ministry, the Nusuk platform provides over 130 digital services aimed at simplifying and enriching the pilgrimage journey.

These include issuing Umrah permits, booking visits to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, monitoring crowd levels in real time, and accessing support services.

The app functions as a comprehensive digital ecosystem, allowing users to manage travel logistics such as hotel reservations, Haramain high-speed train tickets, and flight bookings—all through a single interface.

In addition to logistical support, Nusuk also provides spiritual features such as access to the Qur’an, prayer timings, daily supplications (athkar), and Qibla direction, helping users stay connected to their faith whether they are in Makkah or elsewhere.
