SOCOTRA: Saudi aid agency the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has distributed 3,400 food baskets in Yemen’s Socotra Governorate.
The initiative benefited 23,800 people as part of the second phase of the emergency food intervention project in Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
The project aims to provide urgent food assistance to vulnerable families facing severe humanitarian conditions across Yemen.
The initiative forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian efforts to support communities affected by conflict and food insecurity.
KSrelief continues to deliver relief and development assistance in coordination with international and local partners, helping improve living conditions and address urgent humanitarian needs in affected regions.
The Kingdom has repeatedly affirmed its commitment to supporting people in need worldwide through sustainable humanitarian and relief programmes.
