Saudi Arabia Distributes 3,200 Food Baskets in Several Parts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Saudi aid agency, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has distributed 3,200 food baskets across several regions of Pakistan, benefiting approximately 22,377 people as part of the fifth phase of its 2026 food assistance programme.

The distribution took place in multiple communities, aiming to support low-income families and individuals facing food insecurity, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.

Each food basket contains essential staple items designed to help households meet their basic nutritional needs.

This initiative reflects the ongoing humanitarian commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support vulnerable communities around the world.

Through KSrelief, Saudi Arabia continues to implement relief and development projects that focus on food security, poverty alleviation, humanitarian assistance, and sustainable community support.

The centre has implemented numerous relief and development initiatives in Pakistan, strengthening cooperation in areas such as food distribution, health support, and disaster relief.
