GAZA CITY, Palestine: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has distributed 25,000 hot meals in the Gaza Strip, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
The central kitchen of the agency served the meals to the most vulnerable groups in the central and southern Gaza Strip.
The initiative benefited 25,000 individuals, under the Saudi campaign to support the Palestinian people in the Strip.
This programme is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian efforts, delivered through its relief agency King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, aimed at supporting the Palestinian people during periods of crisis and hardship.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s permanent representative, Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Wasel, speaking at the United Nations, strongly condemned Israeli attacks on Palestine and Lebanon, reiterating its support for a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders.
He stressed that achieving peace requires a ceasefire, preventing displacement, and withdrawal from Gaza.
