ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has announced that the refund process for tickets for its 11th edition will begin on March 30, following recent changes to how the tournament will be conducted.

According to the organisers, fans who purchased tickets online will receive their refunds automatically through the same payment method used at the time of booking.

This applies to transactions made via debit and credit cards as well as digital payment platforms, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process for ticket holders.

The refund procedure is expected to be completed within 15 working days from the start date. However, organisers noted that the exact timeframe may vary depending on individual banks or payment service providers.

National resource conservation efforts

Ticket holders are not required to take any action to initiate the process, but those who experience delays beyond the expected period are advised to contact their respective bank or payment platform for assistance.

The decision to issue refunds follows the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) move to stage PSL 11 matches behind closed doors in Karachi and Lahore. This measure has been taken in line with officially announced national resource conservation efforts.

Under the revised schedule, the tournament will feature 44 matches over 39 days, with Karachi and Lahore hosting 22 games each. While fans will not be present in stadiums, organisers have promised upgraded broadcast and production features to enhance the at-home viewing experience globally.
