ISLAMABAD: The leading run-scorer of each PSL season receives the Green Cap along with the Hanif Mohammad Award, named after Pakistan’s first great batter. Babar Azam currently wears the Green Cap after the league stage of PSL 2026.

Previous winners of the award include Kamran Akmal (2017), Luke Ronchi (2018), Shane Watson (2019), Babar Azam (2020, 2021, and 2024), Fakhar Zaman (2022), and Mohammad Rizwan (2023). Fakhar Zaman’s 2022 record of 588 runs remains the league’s single-season benchmark.

PSL 2026 Green Cap: Top run-scorers 

Peshawar Zalmi’s captain Babar Azam now leads the batting chart, followed closely by his teammate Kusal Mendis in second place. Lahore Qalandars’ Fakhar Zaman occupies third spot, while Hyderabad Kingsmen’s Usman Khan sits fourth. Multan’s Steve Smith completes the top five.

In PSL 11 (2026), the Fazal Mahmood Award—represented by the Maroon Cap—is given to the tournament’s highest wicket-taker. The leading bowler wears this Maroon Cap throughout the competition, and the final recipient is honored after the PSL 11 final.

In the fours column, Babar Azam leads with 60 boundaries, followed by Kusal Mendis with 50. Fakhar Zaman has struck 48 fours, Marnus Labuschagne 42, and Sameer Minhas 41.
