QUETTA: President Dr. Arif Alvi arrived in Quetta on Tuesday to meet with the provincial government and participate in other activities.
Malik Abdul Wali Kakar, the Governor of Balochistan, and senior officials welcomed President Alvi on his arrival in the provincial capital.
A guard of honour was also presented to the President at the Governor House Quetta by the contingent of Balochistan Constabulary.
During their meeting, President Alvi and the governor of Balochistan discussed issues of mutual interest as well as the overall state of the province.
The President will also attend the closing ceremony of the two-day 34th National Games. He will also speak at a seminar on the role of ombudsperson in good governance.
