PENNSYLVANIA: Four people were killed and up to three individuals are still missing after torrential rain triggered flash floods in Upper Makefield Township, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, according to Bucks County officials.
Authorities are still looking for two siblings, a 9-month-old boy and a 2-year-old girl, as well as an adult female.
According to authorities, the biggest flooding occurred along Route 532 between Aqueduct Road and Wrightstown Road. According to the Upper Makefield Township Police Department, the rapid flooding caught several people on the road off guard, and several people were stranded in their automobiles.
Upper Makefield Fire Chief Tim Brewer claimed at a press conference on Sunday that the victims were not locals. According to Brewer, two of the victims got out of their automobiles before the river took them away. The third victim was in their vehicle when the floodwaters took them away.

When asked about the possible link between those who died and those who remain missing, Brewer stated that “one family has been severely affected.”
Authorities reported that they were able to rescue one woman who was stuck in her vehicle. At this time, none of the victims have been publicly identified.
According to Brewer, five feet of water rose from Houghs Creek onto the road. “It was violent and fast moving.”
Eleven vehicles were discovered in the water, and three of them were washed away. According to the fire chief, one of the automobiles was discovered 1.5 miles away from where it first entered the creek.
The search for the three persons who are still missing will continue on Sunday, though Brewer said he is “fairly certain” it will become a recovery mission.
Several roads are currently closed due to heavy debris.
