PMDC Successfully Conducts MDCAT-2023 in 31 Cities

ISLAMABAD: A total of 180,534 candidates appeared in the MDCAT examination at national venues across Pakistan, said the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) on Monday.

An official from PMDC mentioned that 382 candidates appeared at two international centers, with 185 candidates in Dubai and 197 in Saudi Arabia.

The provincial breakdown of candidates is as follows: 66,875 in Punjab, 40,528 in Sindh, 46,439 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 9,230 in Balochistan, 926 in Gilgit, 4,036 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and 12,118 in Islamabad.

The PMDC successfully administered the MDCAT exam-2023 both nationally and internationally, an official statement.

PMDC Conducts MDCAT Exam in 31 Cities

The MDCAT exam took place in 31 cities across Pakistan to accommodate the maximum number of candidates. These cities included Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, DG Khan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Malakand, Dera Ismail Khan, Swat, Swabi, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Quetta, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Huripur, Karachi, Jamshoro, Larkana, Nawabshah,  and Mirpur.

The MDCAT-2023 was a paper-based examination conducted on a single day, held at national and international venues through provincial public admitting universities under the supervision of PMDC.

The PMDC’s top priority is ensuring the bright future of students, and they are working diligently to facilitate them. The President of PMDC personally visited various examination centers in Islamabad, and special assistance was provided to candidates with special needs or disabilities to fill out answer sheets.
