DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday released its latest player rankings, with Pakistan’s opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan retaining his third position in the T20 batting charts.
Sahibzada Farhan continues to hold his place among the world’s elite T20 batsmen, sitting behind India’s Abhishek Sharma, who remains at the top, and the second-ranked batter. His consistency at the top of the order has helped him maintain his strong standing.
Other Pakistan performers
In the T20 bowling rankings, Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed also retained his third spot, behind Afghanistan’s world number one Rashid Khan. Among T20 all-rounders, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza held onto the top position.
Bangladesh’s Towhid Hridoy made a notable jump in T20 batting, moving up nine places to reach 39th position.
ODI rankings update
In ODI cricket, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell retained his number one ranking among batsmen, followed by India’s Virat Kohli in second place. Bangladesh’s Najmul Hossain Shanto rose 11 spots to 32nd.
For ODI bowlers, Rashid Khan continues to lead, while Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed remains in 11th place. Several Bangladesh bowlers made significant gains, including Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, and Naheed Rana.
