SWAT: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has claimed to have killed three alleged terroristsduring exchange of fire after they attacked a probe team in Swat district on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the CTD said that terrorists started firing on the investigation team in Banjot village, Swat. In retaliation, the CTD killed three attackers.
The CTD also tooke the bodies of the terrorists into custody and arrested their accomplices, the spokesperson said adding that the arrested terrorists were transferred to an undisclosed location.
The CTD also claimed to have seized arms and ammunitiona from the possession of the terrorists.
Terrorist arrested in Karachi
Earlier, the CTD Karachi arrested a militant allegedly involved in sabotage activities in Karachi and interior Sindh. He also disclosed his affiliation with an unidentified international terrorist group.
The suspect revealed that he was planning carrying out a bomb attack in Karachi, for which he had been promised a substantial amount by his handlers.
The suspect also confessed to his involvement in various terrorist activities in different districts including, Larkana, Shikarpur and Jacobabad.
