ISLAMABAD: Prof. Dr. Aamir Bilal, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Medical Education and Patient Care and Minister of State, said on Monday that the quality of medical and dental education will be enhanced at par with global standards, considering local requirements and ground realities.
He was chairing a top-level meeting at the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council head office for the promotion of medical education and quality health care in Pakistan.
No Compromise on Quality of Education
Dr. Aamir Bilal said that there will be no compromise on the quality and standards of medical education.
He said that PMDC has an important role in ensuring the quality and standard of medical and dental education, ethical standards, and professional practice.
He said that all necessary measures would be taken to reform existing rules and regulations of PMDC, including the undergraduate medical dental education curriculum, syllabus for MDCAT, and accreditation standards for the accreditation of medical and dental institutes.
