LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board has announced affordable ticket prices for the upcoming ODI series between Pakistan national cricket team and Australia national cricket team, with general enclosure tickets starting from just PKR 200.

The board confirmed on Tuesday that online ticket sales for the three-match series will begin on May 22 through the official PCB ticket portal, while physical tickets will later be made available at selected TCS Express Centres.

Australia are scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on May 23 for the 50-over series, which begins on May 30 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The remaining two matches will be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on June 2 and June 4.

In an effort to attract large crowds, the PCB has introduced low-cost pricing across multiple seating categories. General tickets at both venues will cost PKR 200, while first-class, premium and VIP enclosures have been priced between PKR 300 and PKR 500.

Special VIP gallery tickets for the Rawalpindi ODI will be available for PKR 1,500.

At Gaddafi Stadium, premium VIP enclosures named after former Pakistan captains Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Majid Khan and Zaheer Abbas will range from PKR 1,000 to PKR 1,500.

The series marks Australia’s first bilateral ODI tour of Pakistan since 2022, when the hosts secured a 2-1 series victory.

Pakistan also swept Australia 3-0 in a T20I series earlier this year in Lahore.
