BEIJING: Pakistan Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani said on Tuesday that the resolution of the Kashmir and Palestine issues is crucial for global peace.

Speaking at the international symposium held in Beijing, which aimed to strengthen diplomatic ties among neighboring countries, he stressed the necessity of a common plan of action to halt the ongoing genocide and human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.

The international symposium was organized to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of China’s Principle of Amity, Sincerity, Mutual Benefit, and Inclusiveness in Neighborhood Diplomacy, a concept proposed by President Xi Jinping. Distinguished attendees included Wang Yi, China’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Highlighting the contribution of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) to the concept of good neighborliness, he highly appreciated the role of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in catalyzing the socio-economic development of Pakistan and neighboring countries.
