ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Thursday confirmed its plan to extradite all illegal immigrants as the November 1 deadline approaches.

Addressing a press conference, Caretaker Interior Minister, Sarfraz Bigti said that the country will uphold its stance on the matter after that date. Bugti acknowledged the challenges ahead, emphasizing Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

The government plans to establish temporary facilities to process these illicit immigrants, many of whom have resided in Pakistan for an extended period.

Additionally, those who choose to leave voluntarily will receive assistance in departing from Pakistan.

“Punitive Measures will also be imposed on individuals who make fake Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs),” Bugti further said.

Sarfraz Bugti said illicit properties will also be confiscated of illegal foreigners including illegal Afghan refugees and announced action will also be taken against Pakistanis facilitating illegality.
