ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday spoke with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, regarding the situations in Palestine and Lebanon.

Both leaders expressed their strong commitment to supporting the people of Palestine and Lebanon, state-run news agency APP reported.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has invited bids from reputable air cargo companies to operate charter flights for transporting humanitarian aid to Palestine and Lebanon.
The authority is seeking two charter flights, each with a capacity of approximately 100 tons of relief supplies.
Interested air cargo companies must be registered with the Income and Sales Tax departments to participate in the bidding process. Bid application forms can be downloaded from the NDMA and PEPRA websites. Completed bid documents, along with instructions and terms, must be submitted by October 13.
The selected bidders will be announced on the same day, in the presence of the participating companies.
According to media reports, Pakistan plans to send a total of 200 tons of relief supplies to Palestine and Lebanon as part of its humanitarian support for areas affected by Israeli attacks.
The charter flights will transport essential supplies, including food, shelter, and medical equipment, to assist impacted communities in these regions.
