ISLAMABAD: In a powerful display of Islamic solidarity and strategic unity, Pakistan has released a special anthem to commemorate the historic Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye, signed on August 7, 2026.

Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting produced the special track, which serves as a moving tribute to the deep-rooted historical, religious, and defence ties binding the three brotherly nations.

The anthem’s lyrics, “One Allah, One Prophet (PBUH), One Quran, One Kalima, One Qibla and One Identity”, powerfully reflect the shared religious and cultural heritage uniting the countries.

Message of unity and brotherhood

The anthem frames the message of “Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan” as a symbol of unity, brotherhood, and a shared commitment to defence.

By emphasising love, solidarity, and shared values among the citizens of the three nations, the anthem expresses a firm commitment that these countries will remain united through the unbreakable bonds of brotherhood, faith, and mutual cooperation.

The special release effectively highlights the longstanding relations among the nations and their shared vision for the unity, peace, and stability of the broader Muslim Ummah. It also prominently features their strong strategic partnership and unwavering mutual trust.

Historic defence agreement

The anthem’s release comes as the three countries signed the landmark Makkah Joint Defence Agreement during the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Summit for Joint Defence at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah.

Under the agreement, an attack on any one of the three countries will be treated as an attack on all, aiming to strengthen collective security and promote peace, stability and deterrence in the region.

Produced under the direction of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the anthem celebrates the historic moment when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed the agreement in Makkah.

Guardians of the Islamic World

The anthem’s message that “Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan” stand as “guardians of the Islamic world” reflects the unique position of the three nations: Pakistan as the only nuclear-armed Muslim country, Saudi Arabia as the guardian of Islam’s holiest sites, and Turkiye as a key regional power with NATO’s second-largest military.
