RAWALPINDI: The Command & Staff Conference of the Pakistan Navy held at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Friday, chaired by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, stated the Pakistan Army’s media affairs wing in a statement.

During the conference, the prevailing security situation in the region and the international maritime security situation were discussed. On this occasion, the Naval Chief appreciated the efforts of the participants in the successful conduct of maritime Sea Spark Exercise, said ISPR.
The conference also deliberated on the procurement of modern weapons and technology essential for effectively addressing maritime security challenges.
Demonstrating a commitment to humanitarian relief efforts, Admiral Naveed Ashraf promptly directed the initiation of relief and rehabilitation measures for those affected by recent torrential rains, floods, and landslides in Gwadar.
The ISPR statement further said that the Naval Chief was briefed on both ongoing and future projects of the Pakistan Navy on this occasion.
Expressing confidence, the Naval Chief expressed satisfaction over the operational preparedness of the Pakistan Navy for the defense of the national maritime borders.
