ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar has announced that the price of petrol will remain unchanged, local media reported on Friday.
The Minister said that price of the diesel has been increased by Rs7.50 per litre for the next fortnight. In a late-night press conference, the Finance Minister said, “There has been no increase in the price of petrol,”.

He further said that the diesel price has been increased by Rs7.50 per litre. He added that the new price of diesel will come in effect from July 1.
Earlier, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced significant price reductions for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on Friday. The reduction in LPG prices is expected to have a positive impact on household budgets, especially for those using LPG for cooking purposes.
