ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces killed six terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy Fitna al-Hindustan terrorist group in an intelligence-based operation on Thursday in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, Balochistan.
Multiple terrorists were also arrested on the basis of intelligence reports during the operation, including facilitators and both male and female suicide bombers, according to the security sources.
Fitna-al-Hindustan is an official term designated by the Pakistani government to refer collectively to all Indian backed terrorist groups operating in Balochistan province.
Security forces have dismantled several terrorist hideouts during an intelligence-based operation and recovered a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition from the sites.

Following recent terrorist attacks in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, security forces intensified intelligence-driven operations across the region to track down and neutralise terrorist networks.
The operations are continuing in Balochistan as security forces tighten the cordon around terrorists and their facilitators.

Pakistan’s security forces on Wednesday killed 10 Indian-backed terrorists and arrested two female suicide bombers during a series of intelligence-based operations in Balochistan, the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said.
The operations were carried out as part of the ongoing campaign against the terrorist nexus of the Indian-sponsored “Fitna al Hindustan” and “Fitna al Khwarij”, aimed at eliminating terrorist and their facilitators from the province.
Military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said the operations were carried out in Surab and Mastung districts as part of an ongoing campaign against terrorist groups operating in the province.
Pakistan has witnessed a surge in cross-border terror incidents since the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan in 2021, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces.
Islamabad said the Afghan Taliban regime’s continued support for terrorist groups had enabled them to carry out attacks against the Pakistan military and civilian population along the Pak-Afghan border and in adjoining areas.
UNSC confirms rise in TTP attacks in Pakistan from Afghanistan
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC), in a report released in February, highlighted a series of attacks carried out by the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) targeting Pakistani security forces and projects associated with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
“On September 16, 2025, the BLA ambushed a military convoy patrolling the corridor, killing 32 troops. While counter-terrorism operations by Pakistan restricted the BLA’s operational space, it remained active”.
The report added that some member states reported that the BLA collaborated with the TTP and ISIL-K through shared training camps and resources, coordinating attacks and meetings between commanders. Some member states assessed that there was neither an association nor growing ties between the BLA and Al Qaeda or ISIL.
President, PM vow to continue fight against terrorism
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the attack near Mastung that claimed the life of Session Judge Abdul Hakim Kakar and his gunman, while injuring Judicial Magistrate Tariq Lashari and others.

In separate statements, they expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and conveyed their condolences to the families of those martyred in the incident. They prayed for the elevation of the departed souls and for the swift recovery of the injured.
President Zardari said the sacrifices of those who lost their lives in the fight against terrorism would not be forgotten, reaffirming that Pakistan would continue its efforts until terrorism is completely eliminated.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the government’s firm commitment to eradicating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, stressing that the country would continue taking measures to ensure peace and security.
