ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Armed Forces are continuing their operations against terrorist linked to the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khwarij under the ongoing Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, security sources said.

Pakistan Army units targeted a terrorist position known as the Badani post, located along the Pak-Afghan border in the Chitral region, according to officials.

Security sources said the position was destroyed during the operation, which also involved the use of quadcopter surveillance and targeting systems to monitor militant activity in the mountainous border area.

The action came after the unprovoked aggression from across the border. Authorities stated that terrorists affiliated with the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khwarij groups have suffered significant losses during the ongoing operations.

Pakistan’s Armed Forces have also destroyed equipment storage facilities and technical support infrastructure linked to the Afghan Taliban regime and Fitna al-Khawarij in Kandahar, according to security sources.

The operation was carried out between Friday and Saturday night and targeted locations allegedly being used to support subversive and militant activities against Pakistan.

According to officials, Pakistan Army forces conducted precise strikes on suspected terrorists hideouts as well as equipment storage and technical support facilities believed to be used by the Afghan Taliban regime and associated militant groups.

A video released by security sources shows footage of the operation, including before-and-after visuals of the targeted sites, highlighting the scale and effectiveness of the strikes carried out during the mission.

Security officials further stated that Pakistan will continue its actions until it achieves its objectives of eliminating terrorists networks allegedly operating with external support. The operation is part of broader efforts by Pakistan’s security forces to secure border regions and prevent cross-border militant activity.
