JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Sunday strongly condemned Iran’s attacks on Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Jordan as a clear breach of international law and a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the targeted countries.
In a statement, the OIC General Secretariat said the repeated Iranian attacks on Gulf states, along with continued attacks on commercial vessels and the disruption of international trade, constituted a clear violation of international law, the Charter of the United Nations and the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The OIC described these Iranian attacks as a flagrant and ongoing violation of the sovereignty of those countries and a breach of the principles of good-neighbourliness founded on mutual respect.
OIC warned that such actions would undermine international efforts aimed at restoring security and stability in the region.

The statement reaffirmed the OIC’s solidarity with the countries targeted by the Iranian attacks and its support for all measures they take to safeguard their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
Arab League Secretary-General rejects Iranian attacks on Arab states
Meanwhile, Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy reiterated his rejection and denunciation of Iran’s continued attacks on a number of Arab states. He affirmed that Iranian attacks constitute a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and threaten regional security, stability, and freedom of international navigation, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
In a statement, Fahmy rejected any practices that infringe on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states, stressing that Arab national security is indivisible and that any attack on the sovereignty of any Arab state requires a unified Arab position.
The Arab League Secretary-General reaffirmed the Arab League’s full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Jordan, calling on the Security Council to take effective steps to halt these violations and ensure respect for international law and the security of international navigation.
MWL condemns Iranian attacks on Gulf states, Jordan
The Muslim World League (MWL) on Sunday strongly condemned Iran’s continued aggression against Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Jordan, as well as the targeting of commercial vessels.
In a statement by its General Secretariat, the MWL denounced these Iranian attacks as violations of international law, the UN Charter, the Charter of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, and the principles of good neighbourliness, SPA reported.
The MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organisation of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa renewed his condemnation of these repeated Iranian attacks, stressing that they violate all religious values as well as international and humanitarian laws and norms.
Al-Issa underscored that the continued attacks also undermine efforts to restore security and stability across the region.
