ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has taken swift action by dispatching 12,000 Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFIs) kits to meet the urgent needs of flood-hit people in Pakistan, a statement said on Saturday.
A press release said that in reply to the catastrophic flooding resulting from severe rainfall across all provinces of Pakistan, including Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and Azad Kashmir, the KSRelief has swiftly mobilized to deliver essential aid. It added that a total of 12,000 Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFIs) kits have been dispatched to meet the urgent needs of those impacted by the recent floods.
These comprehensive kits contain vital relief supplies, including emergency shelters, solar panels with LED lights, plastic mats, blankets, water coolers, kitchen sets, and antibacterial soap. The provisions are designed to help 84,000 individuals, providing critical help in this challenging time.

The relief efforts will directly aid recent flood victims living in 20 affected districts, which include Upper Chitral, Lower Chitral, Mansehra, Kohistan, Nasirabad, Dera Ismail Khan, Jhal Magsi, Usta Mohammad Rajanpur, Killa Saifullah, Muzaffargarh, Kot Adu, Sajawal, Badin, Jacobabad, Sanghar, Ghizer, Astore, Bimber and Kotli. KSRelief is working closely with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs), and local administrations to ensure effective distribution, the statement further said.
