DUSHANBE: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia distributed 9,901 shelter bags as emergency assistance and 15 tons of food parcels to people affected by the series of snow slides that hit some parts of Tajikistan.
The emergency assistance of shelter bags was distributed by Waleed Abdurrahman Al-Reshaidan, the Saudi Ambassador to Tajikistan, who commended KSrelief’s humanitarian efforts. At the same time, the aid of food parcels comes within the relief and humanitarian projects that the Kingdom offers through KSrelief to provide food security for needy people worldwide.
Separately, shelter bags benefitted 49,505 individuals, while 1,800 people benefited from food parcels in the Teyarett district of the Republic of Mauritania as part of the Feeding Basket project in Mauritania for 2023. — APP
