The protestors have been walking for days, camping out overnight, and often met by local people offering foodstuff. As per media reports, the protestors want to hold a protest in front of parliament ahead of a Sunday debate and vote on the controversial bill.

The supporters of the bill say it is designed to facilitate effective governance however, the opponents say the new controversial reforms will open the door to corruption and abuses of power in the country.

Polls suggest widespread doubts among Israelis as the controversial changes have dented the economy and also worried the US, which has asked Netanyahu — who is on trial on corruption allegations to seek consensus on controversial judicial reforms.

As per media reports, the crisis has even sown divisions within the military in Israel.
