MAKKAH: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced that this year’s Arafat sermon will be translated into 35 languages and broadcast through digital platforms and affiliated media channels.

The initiative aims to deliver the sermon’s message to Muslims around the world while promoting Islam’s message of moderation and tolerance, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, head of the presidency, said the project reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to serving Islam and Muslims, as well as the leadership’s dedication to enhancing pilgrims’ spiritual experience during Hajj.

He added that the initiative seeks to expand the global reach of the Hajj season by leveraging modern technologies and digital platforms to share the sermon’s spiritual and humanitarian messages with the widest possible audience.

Al-Sudais described the Arafat sermon translation project as one of the presidency’s key initiatives, built on years of expertise in multilingual religious outreach. He noted that the effort enables non-Arabic-speaking Muslims worldwide to better understand and benefit from the sermon.

He also stressed that the presidency has deployed advanced technical and media resources, along with specialised teams, to ensure the sermon is delivered globally with high professional and quality standards.
