KARACHI: Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, emphasized the importance of leveraging China’s advanced technology to achieve rapid development, acknowledging the valuable cooperation from China in this endeavor.
He stated that completing ongoing projects in collaboration with China will pave the way for modern, sustainable growth crucial for the region’s prosperity.
He expressed these sentiments while attending the 75th National Day celebration of the People’s Republic of China. Upon his arrival, he received a warm welcome from China’s Consul General, Yang Yundong, and other diplomatic staff. During the event, Governor Tessori also cut a cake to commemorate the occasion.
The governor extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of China on this significant day, noting that the celebration exemplifies the strong and enduring bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.
He highlighted that this event not only honors the achievements of the Chinese people but also reflects the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

Tessori reaffirmed that the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and China, built on mutual respect and affection, is “higher than the Himalayas and deeper than the oceans.” He took this opportunity to invite Chinese and other foreign investors to consider investing in Sindh, assuring them of an ideal environment with profitable sectors.
He also mentioned that the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is available to provide comprehensive assistance and support to investors.
To further celebrate the 75th National Day of China, Pakistani and Chinese flags were hoisted at Press Club Chowk (Fawara Chowk) near the Governor House. The area was beautifully illuminated with decorative lights, creating a stunning visual display as the flags of both nations waved proudly.
