DES MOINES: Republican Vivek Ramaswamy, a political newcomer who sought to shake up the 2024 presidential contest by challenging more established candidates, has announced that he was going to withdraw and endorsing former President Donald Trump, local media reported on Tuesday.

Ramaswamy said that they are going to suspend this presidential drive. He told his supporters that he called Trump to tell him that he congratulated him on his win. He added that Donald Trump will have his complete endorsement for the president.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump earned his widely-expected win Monday in the Iowa caucuses — the first vote in presidential race of 2024.  CBS and CNN rapidly forecast the result in Trump’s favor over Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, although his win margin was not immediately clear.

Bundled up Iowa inhabitants had shuffled into over 1,600 voting locations which opened at 7:00pm, launching a blockbuster evening seen as a test of Donald Trump’s pledge to ride a year of enormous polling leads to a fabulous White House return.

Donald Trump expressed hope to lock in win as the Republican nominee by crushing DeSantis and Haley by a large margin.

Iowa accounts for less than 2 percent of the delegates awarded countrywide in the process to pick a party flagbearer, so a big night by no means promises success in the rest of the nominating season.

But a strong display is essential for candidates hoping for a foundation to New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina, and onwards to the office of the President.
