Israel agreed to a US-brokered ceasefire in October 2025 but has continued military operations in Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said strikes against Hamas will continue and ruled out a complete withdrawal until the group gives up its weapons.
More than 1,300 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes since the ceasefire was announced, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
Thursday’s deaths come as military operations continue despite the ceasefire agreement, with Israeli forces maintaining a presence inside parts of the Gaza Strip.
