ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif here at the Prime Minister House, where both the leaders discussed different issues including strong future engagement between the federal government and the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to reliable sources, among other issues, both the dignitaries also discussed about the appointment of the Chief Secretary KP. They highlighted the challenges and discussed the possible cooperation and collaboration between the federation and the provincial government.
Significance of Ali Amin Gandapur’s Meeting with PM Shehbaz
It is worth mentioning here that CM KP didn’t attend the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The move bore a negative impact on the possible future coordination between the federal government and KP province.
Later Efforts were made to resolve issues between CM Gandapur and the federal government, for the betterment of the people of KP. As part of these efforts, CM Gandapur has been advised to work closely with the federal government to address issues of the province in a better and effective way.
The current meeting was a part and parcel of these efforts and would make it easy for CM KP to work with the centre in a better way.
