ISLAMABAD: The Balochistan government on Thursday announced bounties for nine highly wanted female terrorists affiliated with the banned Fitna Al Hindustan terror group.
The provincial government announced a reward ranging from PKR 1 million to PKR 1.5 million for information leading to these wanted female Fitna Al Hindustan terrorists.
Advisor to the Balochistan interior minister on media affairs, Babar Yousafzai said that rewards will be offered for credible information leading to the arrest of nine highly wanted female terrorists.
He said the identities of people providing information or helping authorities identify the highly wanted terrorists would be kept strictly confidential.
The wanted female terrorists hail from Gwadar, Jiwani and Turbat areas of Balochistan and had been declared highly wanted by the provincial government. The wanted terrorists include Hanifan, Ayesha, Ruqayya, Hafsa, Zahra, Amina Bani, Zarmeen, Iqra and Azizan.

The Balochistan government urged citizens to provide information about the highly wanted terrorists through the designated contact numbers issued by the provincial government.
Rewards of PKR 1 million each have been announced for eight of the wanted female terrorists, while a reward of PKR 1.5 million has been set for Azizaan.
The highly wanted female terrorists were involved in activities aimed at disrupting peace in Balochistan and were used to influence other women and promote unrest, the provincial government said.
“The provincial government’s reward is based on credible information that helps in the arrest of terrorists, not against Baloch women,” the Balochistan government said.
The provincial government stated that portraying the affiliation of a few women with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) terrorist group as a popular uprising or a collective sentiment among Baloch women is contrary to reality.
The sanctity and honour of women are fundamental values in Baloch social tradition. Preparing women for terrorism is not a Baloch tradition, but rather an exploitation of this tradition by terrorist organisations, the provincial government stated.
By announcing the head money, the government has sent a clear message that anyone who takes up arms and fights against the law-abiding state will face the law, whether rich or poor and male or female.
