ISLAMABAD: Ministers from Azerbaijan and Pakistan met on December 9 to discuss strengthening cultural ties during the “OIC Cultural Festival: Baku Creative Week – 2025” in the Azerbaijani capital.

Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli met Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi at the Baku Congress Centre. Karimli welcomed Pakistan’s active participation in the festival and highlighted the deep, fraternal bond between the two countries.

Aurangzeb Khan Khichi underlined the vast potential for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the cultural sector, stressing the importance of developing a roadmap and a collaboration program. The discussions also explored opportunities across various fields of culture.

The festival, which features participation from dozens of countries and international organisations, aims to promote creativity, cultural exchange, and closer ties among member states.
