KARACHI: A breathtaking unbeaten 102 off just 47 balls from Ayesha Zafar powered Pakistan Women to a mammoth 237, before captain Fatima Sana led a clinical bowling attack to bowl Zimbabwe out for a paltry 84, securing a massive 153-run victory in the first T20I at the National Bank Stadium on Tuesday.

The win gives Pakistan a 1-0 lead in the three-match series and marks their most dominant T20I performance in recent memory.

Electing to bat first, Pakistan openers provided a flying start. Gull Feroza smashed 37 off 19 balls with 8 fours, but it was Ayesha Zafar who stole the limelight.

The top-order batter remained unbeaten on 102, decorating her innings with 15 fours and 2 sixes at a staggering strike rate of 217.02. She found able support from Aliya Riaz, who hammered 48 off just 23 balls (4 fours, 4 sixes), and captain Fatima Sana, who contributed an unbeaten 21 off 13.
