ANF Seizes 640 Kg Drugs in Five Operations Across Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted five operations across Pakistan and managed to recover 640 kg drugs and arrested five accused, according to an ANF Headquarters spokesperson on Tuesday.

The spokesperson said that in the Western Bypass Quetta area, 230 kg of heroin and 220 kg of crystals were recovered.

Additionally, in the second operation in Mashkil Chagai, 100 kg of opium and 80 kg of hashish were seized. In the third operation at Sher Shah Toll Plaza Multan, 6.8 kg of weed was confiscated from three suspects.

Furthermore, 602 grams of weed were seized from Khanna Bridge Islamabad, and 2.5 kg of hashish were confiscated from two suspects apprehended near Saddar in Rawalpindi. The arrested individuals have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and further investigations are underway. —APP
