DUBAI: Pakistan rising star Sameer Minhas has written his name into the record books with a monumental, unbeaten innings of 177 to power Pakistan to a colossal 293-run victory over Malaysia in the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 on Friday.

His masterclass at The Sevens Stadium anchored Pakistan’s total of 345 before the bowlers skittled the opposition for a mere 48.

Minhas’s spectacular 148-ball knock, laced with 11 fours and eight sixes, shattered multiple records. It now stands as the highest individual score in the history of the U19 Asia Cup, surpassing Indian batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s 171 made earlier the same day.

The innings is also the highest Youth ODI score for Pakistan and the joint-fifth highest overall in the format.
