RIYADH: Seven OPEC+ countries on Sunday agreed to maintain their September 2026 required oil production levels for October, it said in a statement, keeping the producer group’s output policy unchanged as they continued to assess global oil market conditions and the outlook.
The meeting of seven core OPEC+ members — Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Algeria, Kazakhstan and Oman — comes as the Iran war continues to disrupt oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz.
In August, OPEC+ agreed on its production boost for September, completing a phased rollback of a 1.65 million-barrel-per-day supply cut first agreed in 2023.

The seven OPEC+ countries had previously announced additional voluntary adjustments in April and November 2023.
The seven participating countries decided to maintain September 2026 required production for October 2026 as detailed in the table below.
The seven countries reiterated their collective commitment to achieve full conformity with the Declaration of Cooperation.
The seven OPEC+ countries will continue to hold monthly meetings to review market conditions. The next meeting will be held on October 4, 2026.
